We finally saw the Manta Rays. I’ve always loved those big animals. There are huge!! The biggest they have in Kona is 9 meters wide. It’s so impressive and amazing. They eat plankton all day long and never sleep.

As for the whales, I forgot to say that they come from Alaska to give birth in Hawaii. The mother don’t eat anything during those 4 months in Hawaii. Not because she’s not hungry but just because there’s no krill here. The baby drinks 400L of milk daily and put on 50Kg per day. It has to be strong enough to go back to Alaska and has to be big enough not to be eaten by sharks.
